Walla Walla Onions  offer a delightfully sweet, mild onion with a satisfying crunch and low sulfur content, meaning fewer tears when slicing.

This classic variety is celebrated for its jumbo size, round shape, and versatile flavour, perfect for adding fresh zest to salads, sandwiches, and cooked dishes alike. The onions develop a deep, sweet warmth when cooked, retaining just enough onion “zing” to enhance any recipe.

Plants reach a height of 40cm and spread  20cm. Sow seeds from late December to April, plant outdoors in May, and harvest from August to October for optimal flavour.

Not good for long term storing.
