Germination: Radish seeds are known for their relatively quick germination. They are best planted directly in the soil, as they don't transplant well due to their quick growth. Sow the seeds in well-drained, loose, and fertile soil, about 2cm deep and space them apart according to the specific radish variety's recommendations.
Growth Conditions: Radishes thrive in cool weather, so they are often grown in the Spring and later Summer / Autumn. They require consistent moisture to develop plump, tasty roots. Full sun is ideal for radish growth, but they can tolerate some shade.
Harvesting: Most radishes are ready for harvest within 20 to 30 days after sowing the seeds. You can harvest them when the roots are of a suitable size, usually around 3cm in diameter, depending on the variety. Younger radishes tend to be milder in flavour.
