San Marzano tomato
Rating:
06 October 2014  |  Chris

Very Good for cooking especially soups and sauces. Grown in the Lincolnshire, tend to ripen in September. Used as a salad tomato - given good rating by dinner guests who had no eaten them before. Less acidic than other maincrop tomatoes.

Excellent flavour

This tomato was excellent in the greenhouse in 2012. The flavour was good and produced wonderful sauces.
