Ice Cream Sundae is a compact type that holds its flowers above the foliage. Highly suitable for large containers and bedding out. A fast growing Annual with flowers of Cream with Scarlet spots held above the foliage, it is best sown direct into 9cm pots first before planting out once the frosts have passed as it is not hardy.
Nasturtium plants can be a magnet for Blackfly and Cabbage White Butterflies. Some gardeners use nasturtiums to attract these pests away from their vegetable crops, preferring to spray their flowers and not their veg.
