Sow Seeds from: Feb - April

Gazania Kiss needs a location where it will get the sun. Flowers will close up at night and on very cloudy days.

How to Grow Gazania from Seed

Sow Indoors (Feb-April): Start seeds in trays with well-draining compost. Press lightly onto the surface (needs light to germinate). Keep at 18-21°C.

Germination (7-14 days): Cover with clear plastic to retain humidity. Place in a bright spot or under grow lights.

Seedling Care: Once sprouted, remove cover and keep soil moist but not soggy. Transplant into pots when they have 2-3 true leaves.

Hardening Off (May-June): Gradually expose seedlings to outdoor conditions before planting in well-draining soil in full sun.

Planting Out: Space 20-30cm apart in a sunny, sheltered spot. Water sparingly—Gazania thrives in dry conditions!

Enjoy Blooms (June–Oct): Deadhead spent flowers for continuous flowering. Feed with a light liquid fertiliser every 4-6 weeks.
