Chilli Pepper Basket of Fire is prolific fruiting variety that is breaking new ground, with its semi trailing habit. This unique plant habit makes it a perfect choice for hanging baskets and containers alongside your trailing tomatoes.

Basket of Fire has a strong ornamental appeal, boasting a neat habit with dense foliage and produce a huge amount of multi coloured fruits that mature from deep purple through cream and orange to finish a bright red.

The plants have a good tolerance to cooler weather lasting well into the autumn. Harvested fruits are easy to dry as well as being ideal for fresh use, and measure a spicy 80,000 Shu on the Scoville scale (which is somewhere in between Cayenne and Habanero heat wise!)
