This was the first time that I have grown them and will definitely do so again. They were easy to grow, needed little thinning and tasted great in salads and cooked. I sowed them in March and was pulling them by the end of May, those that stayed in the ground stood well and none bolted. Third sowing in June was more erratic in germination, prob due to higher temps. Better value than spring onions, in my view as they are more substantial but just as easy to grow.
